NAME MY STEET TEAM---and The Big Apple!

Dearest Readers,

Some awesome fans have indicated that they’re interested in being part of my street team. (I seriously adore you!) And I’ve decided I’m going to be setting one up! (More info on how to sign up will be posted soon.)

For those who don’t know what it entails to be on an author’s street team, it’s simple. And fun! If you decide to join my street team, then just before the release of one of my books I mail you out some promo materials (about 10 bookmarks/excerpt booklets) and you hand them out in your neighborhood---perhaps by dropping some off at your local bookstore, or library. Anywhere, in fact, you feel the promo items would be welcome. (More details about this soon!)

But before we get started---I need a street team name! Something cool like Donna (Grant’s) Dolls. Or J.R. Ward's WARDens. (How great are those?!) Got any suggestions? Email me HERE, or through my website: Just click the red envelope HERE

Make sure you put in the Subject line STREET TEAM NAME.

If I select your name suggestion, you get a small gift from me! Oh, and you can offer as many suggestions as you wish.

I’ll announce the winner on July 2nd---the same day I'll be announcing the winners of my May/June Contest! Can’t wait to hear what you come up with!

Visit me in NYC tomorrow!!

I’m one of many authors who will be participating this Tuesday June 28th in the Literacy Autographing event. The details from the RWA website are as follows:

“Literacy Autographing will take place on Tuesday, June 28, from 5:30–7:30 p.m. at the New York Marriott Marquis in Times Square, Broadway Ballroom. This event is open to the public; there is no admittance fee. Proceeds from book sales go to ProLiteracy Worldwide and their local NYC partner, ACE New York.”

If you’re in New York city or plan on attending the event, I hope you’ll stop by to say hello! I’d love to meet you in person. Click HERE to check out which other authors will be there with me. I’m in wonderful company!

Hope to see you there!

First review of A MIDNIGHT DANCE is in!

Dearest Readers,

Early reviews of my summer release, A MIDNIGHT DANCE (out Aug. 2011) have begun!  Publishers Weekly---who's so big and important and always makes me nervous---has officially LOVED both the books they've reviewed in the Fiery Tales series!!

YAY!

Here's what Publishers Weekly had this to say about A MIDNIGHT DANCE:

DiPasqua's third "Fiery Tale" (after Awakened by a Kiss and The Princess in His Bed) turns the story of Cinderella into a sensual romance set in 1658 France. The death of Sabine Laurent's father, a popular but far from wealthy playwright, leaves the family heavily in debt. Sabine is determined to save her home and find her beloved sister, Isabelle, even if it means stealing from the "Dark Prince" she fell in love with years before. Jules de Moutier, son of a lord framed for trying to overthrow the king, is now a privateer. Disguising herself as a courtesan, Sabine hatches a desperate plot to distract Jules and drug him so she and her family can steal his hard-won fortune--only to find her plans at odds with her emotions. DiPasqua deftly balances steamy sex with side plots concerning Isabelle's fate and a devious baron. (Aug.)
